It actually happens a lot. I hear someone shooting a gun pretty often.

I went to Florida to visit my dad years ago, and I was astonished that the 3-4 months I was there I only heard one ambulance xD
I hear them all the time here.

Wow really Moi? That's...kinda sad to hear, that you hear the sirens all the time where you live and then become surprised when you hear them less...;-;
