Kingdom of Knuffel

For me the remakes are hit and miss. Some I think are great and make the item a lot more usable without changing the feel. Some made me really sad (oh my poor poor sky curtain...).
I usually just vote food if it's not an item I own or quest. Sometimes I read through the thread and if there's responses that argue well why they don't like the change I'll vote no to support them. Just because it seems to be very difficult to have no go through, even if the majority of the people talking in the thread have problems with the change.

What I actually have had more issues with are the silent changes of shop items, especially the bgs. A lot of them made the items much less usable for me and there's some where I dread the day that I'll find my item changed suddenly with no warning.

I don't know if I've ever been surprised with such a silent change. Maybe because I don't own many shop items? Or they didn't change as much. I've had some slight issues with the announced changes
The color changes of the Troth Fairy Dress surprised me a lot, the old colors should've stayed imho. I would be totally fine with just a color update for that item. Same for Troth Gladioli flowers.

I don't seem to have as many issues with item changes whether they were voted or silent. I don't particular mind. I much prefer the art be consistent throughout the site so sometimes the orientation and the choice of colours with old items really bother me because they simply don't match in style or colour or the line art was too thick.

I have sold shop items that have been updated the colour altered significantly. I view it mostly as an inconvenience more than anything but I'm not severely upset. Always more items for me to choose from.

I totally agree on the troth fairy dresses, mem. They were colours from the chart, and they just disappeared. All the ones I owned changed to completely different colour combos that I'm not likely to use... And the cyber yellow/leaf green one was a favourite of mine. Yeah, there's always more items, sure, but there are some one loves and no matter if they were cheap shop items or expensive quests, it hurts when they simply go out of existence.
Same with the birds actually, they had the same colours as the dresses and changed to the same new combos (at least the ones where I owned both) in an earlier update.

I was kinda sad about the troth dresses too, I expected new colors to be added not the current ones to be changed x.x

@Chrizine, @Haze: Same x.x I mean, maybe I didn't use the dresses much, but recently I've had this idea to broaden the variety of colors in my wardrobe and include some new ones, especially ones like Cyber Yellow or Sky Blue. And I was totally shocked to see they changed to other colors. I don't really understand the purpose of the change, since all the colors were legitimately from the current color chart. I don't see why the dresses couldn't be available in all colors possible, we have such items in the Kingdom already, so why not this one also? Had the same issue, with the Gladioli flowers. I liked my Light Blue flowers, on eof very few items I owned in that color, and they suddenly changed to Aqua... Not that I don't love them like that, but I could use them in Light Blue too...

Mem, to me it seems like the colours that got removed from the troth items are somehow less popular ones (like cyber yellow). Which makes me sad, cause some of them are among my favourites... And they certainly won't get more popular if there's even less items in them...
