I hope so. There doesn't seem to be a lot of new users lately though judging from the newbies forum and none of them have come here ;-;

Newbies would be really cool. But I think what we really need is advertisement or publicity. Something to acutally lure new people. Because I nearly don't see anything about Knuffel around the Internet :(

Well I don't see much in terms of avatar websites any more.
I guess they're just not as popular.
I see a lot of MMORPG ads but that's about it.
Kids much rather play games on steam :s

But it is true, many kids prefer "real games". But anyway, Flightrising is a rather new pet page (no avatars though) and it has to restrict registration because they would be flooded with too many users otherwise. Why can't we have that?

I think I've seen it around! The dragon like pets right?
Maybe we should find out their secrets.
Do they advertise a lot. I don't think Firn can sustain ads :(

Yeah, it's those dragons.
And no, I haven't seen a single ad. I knew about them because I had been following the head artist for a while and checked their kickstarter project.
But a main difference is: they are active.
Every update, new species, is being posted on tumblr (and I think twitter and facebook as well). And I nearly never see any posts by Firn. She also doesn't post her art outside of kofk. So the only ones advertising kofk are currently the users.

Really? I thought it was very easy to start food wise (that's what I remember). And back then, one didn't have a trial knuffel Oo

I think it's good to be a participant in other social media platforms.
It'll be nice if Firn posted work other than her normal kofk stuff, even doodles on tumblr/instagram. Maybe she can amount some followings that may be interested in kofk c:
It's definitely a better way to get yourself out there than paying for an ad. There are so many active instagram and tumblr users and it's really easy to get their stuff seen even if you start following a bunch of people at first. People tend to check out new users that follow them especially if they're not swamped by incoming messages.

I know I was a little put off by the slow nature of kofk and that was years ago when I started. I guess people aren't interested in playing match, clicking on a knuffel and waiting for it to fish in food (if ever, initially). It's slow and people are impatient I would say.

Yeah, and for Firn, it would be easier to start than for other, "normal" users of social media platforms, since she already has many fans that would like or reblog her stuff.

Kofk is indeed very slow. We have new knuffel once in a while and really new things (like rooms) once a year or stomething. Still waiting for the battle system...

I got the first three items, not sure if I should like them or not.

Did you get the bear? I want it only because it's cute. Not so much for its function.

I think the BG isn't bad but it won't match anything I have. I just got the 3rd one D: I'm excited for the fourth.
