Once you reach the top and get the knuffel, there is a place to click to restart it, and you can keep adding more and more and get a second set of everything, and then a third, and so on for as much as you can.
So there is hope that perhaps you can buy extras from people, even if we can't give the sweets/vegetables/pastries directly.

But yeah, we can't trade/sell the turn-in items but we can trade/sell the prizes. I'm heading for Knuffel #4 (309/2000 and haven't gone digging yet today) and will have equal sets of avatar items.
A lot of us will have extras by the end of this.

The event runs THROUGH November 6th, if I read the announcement properly.

I'm sure lots of the items will hit the market at low prices in the next couple of months. If lots of people get extras, then even more so the case.

Well, I really only need 1 set of avatar items, lol. The rest will sit in my wardrobe and rot 'til I either sell 'em or give 'em away and I only need 1 event Knuffel, though I can use the rest for digging until it's time to send them off.
Heck, I still have 2 extra pair of summer Knuffel noone's wanted yet.
