Moi-I had an eel slither over my foot in a creek once. *shudders* I didn't even know we had eels until that happened. Except for that, I'm generally not afraid in moving water as long as I can see. I refuse to swim in a pond or a lake.

Driving is a lot of fun at first. I still like it if I'm listening to great music or if I'm mad because it helps me calm down. Did you ever think about getting your driver's permit? That way if your dad lets you drive neither one of you will get into trouble because you're just practicing.

No, you shouldn't, but depending on the situation it never hurts to ask.

Awesome. :qg: I have too in a stocked pond. Otherwise, all I catch is baitfish. XD Big catfish are really hard to reel in!

I love the water. I just don't want to touch anything gross or be eaten. XD

That was scary and very mean of them to do that.

Ummm....true but I don't believe we have the worms here. Plus, you don't exactly have to worry about that anyway. XD I think we do have the brain ones but it's pretty rare I think.

Tam-That is something a lot of people have to deal with and I've heard it's very painful. I don't think I get that but I do get water trapped in there for a bit and it takes me a while to get it out. I hate that.

Yeah, up where I live, all that needs to be watched out for is swimmer's ear and swimmer's itch, and maybe the occasional nosey fish that wants to nibble toes. Oh, and pond weed, which feels really really weird under the aforementioned toes.

Rayven, I wound up with eczema in the ears from it. Thankfully, a doctor finally took me seriously and gave me a treatment that fixed that.

Rayven: We used to go to this little creek here when I was a kid. It was moving water, but it wasn't that strong and you could bring your chairs and just sit in the water and there was a cliff people would climb up on.
I remember wading in the water and I cut my foot open on some glass Bu

Yeah, I've considered it, but just never went through with it.
The funny thing is my family tells me to learn how to drive, but then say "I'm glad you don't drive because it's dangerous!"

I think there's been at least two cases here of the brain ones.
So I will be going in water even less 8u

Tam: Do you think fish smoke pond weed 8u

No, but my one pet goldfish gobbled it down like it was fish crack.

>XD

That reminds me of this video of a fish drinking a beer.
Or well, this guy were pouring it down its throat.
But the fish could have left at any time, so I told my sister it was just hanging out, drinking beer xD

Tam-That reminds me of the enormous amounts of thick algae that the creek I grew up playing in had. That stuff was gross and my cousins used to throw it at each other and me. Yuck. XD It was the green, slimy kind.

I'm glad they fixed that for you.

Moi-That's sounds like the creek I was just talking about with Tam. Places like that are awesome! Oh no. That's not good. :qsob: I hope it wasn't deep. The creek I was talking about had leeches. Sometimes one of us would have one attach itself to us. :mcargh: It was awful. Nasty little boogers.

XD It's true though. But it's good to be able to if you need to. I've discovered that I'm a great driver but most other people suck at it. XD But seriously, especially when it's slick out, I do pretty good but I've had other people almost hit me. It's super scary when that happens.

That's horrible, I don't blame you.

I think they blocked it off. There's a lot of places you can't go to anymore.
You also have to pay to get into the lake, even if you're just looking around.
That would freak me the fuck out to have a leech on me >xD
Do they hurt when they're on you?

My mom constantly bitches at everyone while driving.
And I just don't care?
Like if someone cuts her off, she bitches about for 20 minutes.
With me it's like "Wow fuck you too 8u" and I'm over it.

They actually said someone got one or something similar from drinking tap water o_O

Had a kerfuffle with the neighbour last night. Talked about it in Cat Chat.

Ugghhhh. Yeah, I think I've stepped on slimy algae too. Thankfully, I don't think I've ever caught a leech with anything but a jar. And then threw it to the chickens.

Moi-It's probably a good thing not as many people will go to the lake, it sounds dangerous. No, you can't even feel them. That's the scary part. O.O You could be covered in them and not know it until you look down. When you take them off you bleed for a bit though and to get them off easy you have to use salt or fire. It's not cool. XD

It's good you let things go easy. I'm better about it than I used to be but I still tend to be like your mom sometimes. XD

That's very scary. O.O Haven't they heard of chlorine? XD

Tam-*goes to read* You have the oddest neighbors. O.o Why put water in front of everybody's door?

The low-water bridge over the creek was covered in a couple of different types of algae. The brown wasn't as slippery but if you stepped on the green you were going down. XD It's a wonder none of us died because we played on it all the time and there were big rocks on the other side of the bridge where the water was flowing. We could have slipped and cracked our heads open. O.O Chickens can has all the leeches! XD

Well, we have ice covering everything. We're just lucky it's not windy or we wouldn't have power. It was raining a few minutes ago and now it's snowing. XD I just hope the ice doesn't build up more. One of our trees that was halfway down fell the rest of the way. Now we can take care of it this spring without worrying it will hit something. When it fell it didn't really do any damage thankfully.
