I think there is a rule in the Netherlands that if you have to travel longer to go to and from school (so the two added) that you don't have to go... But I wouldn't be surprised if that rule is just a rumour and doesn't exist *haha*
And by the way most people do not have to travel more than 20 minutes to get to school... And there are a lot who travel less.
I can skip my lectures, but I have to attend the lessons where we have to work, other wise we will get a lower mark for the course...

It'll take me 2 full hours in total to get there and back, bc i only get one bus to school and my bus leaves 2 hours after my class ends. My classes last one and a half. Otherwise I could have of course waited another 4 hours on school. Not worth it.
the bus only takes 30 mins, so yeah... I just wish there were more that drive me to school. I need half an hour to get to the fucking train station.

I don't think that applies to high schools, but i'm not sure.
And yay! I have the interview today. I'm pretty excited! And when i'm done, I need to write it into an article and upload it to the school page. So I'll skip the lecture today. Otherwise i'd be in the trains for so friggin long! And not enough time to write, too... I'll get in trouble if I haven't uploaded the article before tomorrow before class.

hey hey you know whatever you heard over in your country may actually not count for germany u kno I mean we don't even HAVE "high schools" and "middle schools" it's very different here
they might be getting money depending on how many students attend school, but certainly not by how many people are there each day. And even if so that wouldn't mean I'd lose credit only because I'm not there every day that's BS whatever school that does that is horrible
