Not really. I clean when I get into a 'cleaning mood' so the place gets pretty bad at times. Other then that, no help for mom.


Much to mom's annoyance, yes I've become handy. xD Having the internet helps a bunch too. Mom likes to use broken things as an excuse to have someone over to talk to. =A= Except by the time they get here, she's asleep and I have to deal with them myself...


Just wish stuff would stop breaking so I can just curl up and read my web/light novels xD

I sometimes have to force myself to do some real cleaning, but having 2 cats means that something has to be done at least once a day (kitty litter being one) and it helps prevent the place turning into a pig sty so to speak :')

Usually I clean out their litter the moment I come home from work and then try to go along with the thought of 'well I'm already doing this might as well do x or x now too'. But it definitely helps ofc to live with someone who helps. I live with my bff and we tend to do the dishes together for example. So even if we have our lazy days and the dishes pile up for a day, we tackle it together the next day and it takes far less time.

Not everyone can be so lucky though, I'm sorry you basically have to fend for yourself

I actually have a dishwasher :'D

its just that we don't amass enough dishes to justify using it much... Like its just the two of us, to properly load it full takes us 3-4 days of cooking/eating etc

I get antsy already when the dishes aren't cleaned for one day so I've used my dishwasher like once or twice at the start of the year? When I could still have company over and we'd have enough dishes to justify running it :')
