That would mean I need to re-do the whole thing.

I think I know a solution. Changing the Face in 1, that'd be a thing already.
I mean, the fins(golden/yellow addings) and the blue are one of the major changes.. So, why not make him close his eyes in the second stage?

When I looked at stage 1 and 2 in small size they really looked identical. I doubt the open or closed eyes could really make a difference, as it would be another "small" change that would not be visible at first glance in small size.
You really should make sure there are BIG (as in physically of large size) differences between each stage.

Besides, he would need his eyes to stay closed for all the remaining stages, otherwise it does not even count as a small change.

Well, his eyes fully change in the 5th.. But well.

I guess I have to remake all of his stages prior 5. :qf:
Oh well, I wonder how I am willing to do this.
Just.. Decline him already and I am going to remake his stages.

The way I design my knuffels is basically min 2 clothing changes in the next stage, minimum one body change (skin color, eye color or hair, etc), and minimum of 2 accessory added or altered. I never really have the final stage in mind, I always just wait and see what I come up with.

Sometimes it just needs some tries. I also started over three times before I was satisfied with my current WIP knuffel.

Tried to fix the problem with stage 1 - 2
(I updated stage 3 also, and checked up somethings)
I tried to make it connect more between stage 3 and 1.
- Stage 1 - - Stage 2

I will make them transparent when they will be alright.

I would add something more, personally. I don't know the 3rd stage, but you could add clothing, or you could put a pattern on the underwear for extra detail?

The problem is... his scales are too soft to make a decent pattern..

Unfixed 3rd: Click here
Merry cleaned it up for me by the way.
Maybe I should let the stash begin a little bit..

Why not? Because of the fact that the 4th looks like this:
Clickie
Maybe I should lighten the 1st stages hair a bit.
