I have to admit - when I made them starkad said he could not see what was on the books. So maybe the effect that they are too small with too much on it adds to the "cluttered" effect. I will try to replace them with something that is more recognizable. Just let me mess around with it a bit.

I do like the new layout. I like the fact that the Index Page looks more child-like now. I also like the color you chose. Vanilla gives an antiquated effect.
But... I don't really like how it looks with the grayish blue tone since the latter looks more modern and doesn't really go in sync with the Vanilla. I would have preferred if you had changed it to Light Brown or Tan instead (or a brown that looks a tad bit brighter than the scroll on the right side of the forums page).
Of course, I do understand that it might just really be the fault of my laptop so I don't really want to hassle you. After all, both you and Starkad have been doing such brilliant work recently.

Aha, I used my imagination for the icons. 8D But I do like them. I like the concept, and they're also very cute. Also, I'm used to the gray-blue... it's in the logo, so we should keep it for sure. XD

I have to say that I like the new design
a lot! It looks a bit vintage and it's very sweet. It doesn't look cluttered to me. Sure, one has to get used to it, but I like it this way better than before. Please don't change it back.
