This looks so fun! I have a question~ Would 3D art be acceptable, such as a sculpture?

I wanted to ask about your meaning of alter, Firn.
I had a cute idea, but the outfit is not the same.
It will be the same color and will have the flower patterns and such...

I'm going to make it anyway, but I don't know if I could enter it.
xD

one question,
in the 'story' part, does it say that Gigi is in love with Peppe?
I think it says so, but I just wanna know for sure, since it's relevant for her character a bit.

Yes, Gigi is in love with Peppe, but t I would not suggest for anyone to focus on that in your entries.

I am afraid it neither qualifies for Traditional Media, not Digital Art, so it can't really win anything in this contest. ^^;

I can't really say much about this without seeing what you have in mind, but I would not suggest giving her a completely different outfit.

I'd say it's plenty traditional!
Didn't people sculpt a lot in the past? o:

Folk Dance is traditional too. Still doesn't belong into this contest.

What if it is drawn traditionally then scanned and colored digitally?

Well, you can't make a Gigi out of a dance, but you can make a Gigi sculpture, so I really don't see what the problem is. o.O

The problem is that this is a drawing contest. I am sorry if the term "Art contest" is misleading in this case, but if I get 100 traditional media entries, and 100 digital media entries and one sculpture and a fish dressed up as Gigi, because people consider this "art" too these days, then, how am I and the other users supposed to compare and judge these entries to the others?

I am sorry that you are not happy with these terms, but I have given up trying to please everyone here and I will not further engage in discussions with people disagreeing with the terms of my contest.

That's allowed, though I guess I would have to see whether it looks more like a traditional media or a digital media drawing to decide which prize it would qualify for.
