That being said, I have sadly noticed that the charities here aren't very active. But at the same time in some other places they are so active you can't even participate.
It's pretty hard to find the right balance.

I haven't participated in any of the other charities either. I've hung around 'gracious?' but was only interested in a chat really. I see 'frosty' is quite active as well but I haven't looked at what they offer.

Thanks for the input though. I initially set out to make a charity to help new people but I may reach out to other users with more services and offers in the future provided I get more activity in here. (Which is possibly unlikely)

Awwww. Maybe this site just needs some advertising. Like, Goatlings has referrals, so a number of artists send out referral ads, which tend to be cute.

The problem probably lies in the fact that avatar forums and click able pets websites aren't as popular as they used to be
I know I rather play my steam games, mmorpgs etc

A lot of my friends have moved away from kofk because they're now married, working, have kids and other life commitments. I was younger than all of them so I guess I got left behind ._. and younger users aren't really interested so the older ones aren't replaced.

Awwww! That's kinda sad. I guess it depends. Pet sites tend to be for younger people, and they only find them with advertising. I know like Goatlings, their community is actually predominantly 20 year olds. I can understand people moving, but I'm sorry.

Yeh, it seems to be difficult to get a young teen involved in these types of sites now that they have their tablets, apps and such. I sound like a grandma.

I'm not often this active either but I've been on summer break since December. I also recently quit my tutoring job because of the inconvenient shifts and thus have absolutely nothing to except clean my room and sell my clothes on ebay. Lol.

I wonder if Gaiaonline is still really active. I haven't visited them since I quit like 4/5 years ago? ._.

I think it's a lot about advertising (I swear, that's not my job :l ), because with so much available now, you really need to get interest.

Awww. I joined two years ago but never really got into it until I was bored the other day and thought, hey, I wanna try that again.

I wouldn't go there, honestly. :T I was on about that long ago, then recently, and the economy is terrible. They for awhile had pay things that could make you millions, and now everything is ridiculously expensive. You can't really make any money except by doing art anymore, and it was such a mess, I didn't want to try to sort it out to play.
