She did, the tenth anniversary edition of twilight has a genderbent version along with it called "Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined". Here's a source for that.
I remember reading somewhere that the story is pretty much the same except for everyone's genders (but I can't find where I read that so ??? take my word for it). So I hope she does the other books too, because I personally can't wait for male!Bella to a) shave his legs on the honeymoon and b) give birth.

I tried to read Twilight once, but it was so boring I stopped after like 30 pages. Not sure the genderbent makes the sighing and the staring any more interesting :'D
I think I really am only interested in those things I mentioned, which are in the third book.
