I'm leaving it to my dad. :D He's got the money, he'll be responsible to find the cheapest stuff. (I just hope he buys it and doesn't moan about it, because if I don't have those books I will fail my courses. And I don't want to fail my courses.)

Depending on where you're from, some tap waters are actually dangerous to consume and are only okay for washing dishes, scrubbing floors, etc (unless you boil the water to knock out impurities since some tap waters are not readily drinkable). Luckily where I was born and where I live now has some of the cleanest, safest waters on the planet and have really good purification systems, both natural and manufactured!

Yup, it's a thing. Some places in the world have terrible water, regardless of being developed or wealthy countries T.T
There are a lot of places in America that have poor tap water, like New York City for example. Which is why bottled water is so important there.

Yeah, but there's nothing they can do about it. Some water cleansing systems are so bad that even if they get it clean, people take caution drinking it T.T and because some governments are dumb they aren't puttin' money into better water cleansing technologies. Some places are working to fix it while others have to boil their water consistently in order to drink it.
