I play both online and console games (including handhelds)
My favorite platform game currently is Drawn to Life: the next chapter. It's amazing! I wrote a 4 page paper about it when I was in college lol
As far as rpgs, I've played a lot of them in my time but I am currently into Phantom Brave and Fire Emblem Fates
