Next person likes to read about mythology

I like reading the myths, but I don't like reading about mythology. Like, actual stories? I'm all over that. But the facts about what these people believed? Not so much. I got this book titled Celtic Mythology and I was super excited because I thought it'd be full of little stories but no. It was full of how the names of these deities changed over time or some such. I was disappointed.
