What horror anime, you mean? I don't remember titles --I just skip them all entirely.

Aha, you should know by now that it's not my thing. Even Mononoke had its disturbing moments.

Yeah, I liked it overall. Their art style was interesting and the character concept appealed to me --their choice of colors went well with the tone of the story and represented the characters quite nicely. There wasn't much depth for the characters (but there rarely is in horror stories), rather, the focus was on the stories themselves (which for this genre, is as it should be.)

I think they didn't even make it as horrific as the original show was (to my understanding, Mononoke some sort of spin-off?)

I also like the balance of artistic/visual beauty vs. the ugliness of the characters, and also of some of the scenarios and themes. There's a sense of duality that is often touched upon in the anime...it's just a very nice feel overall.

With all that in mind, I guess it would rank as a 7 or maybe 8 out of 10 for me. Neuro would be one rank lower than that (enjoyable, intriguing, but not very in-depth or as thought-provoking as it should be... visuals had interesting concepts, but the art style was average in comparison.)

Oofuri is 10/10 foreveeer. Baccano! too. X3 And Hikaru no Go (the anime. The manga gets a 9/10 for its unsatisfactory ending.) I guess Hunter x Hunter is also a 9/10 because while it was overall awesome and interesting, they kinda messed up in the Ant Arc --enough for most of the fans to go WTF. And One Piece gets an 8.5 for concept, humor, and because I'm a fan of Oda and Zoro. :P
