What's going on, Nan, is that this is the... I didn't count... Let's say it's happened several times this month and the last that our classes got canceled, and we didn't figure out until we got to school already. Our school says communication is the key, and they find it VERY important we communicate properly and let teachers know we're sick or when we can't make the deadlines...
Yet the teachers themselves don't bother informing us in time about canceled classes, take ages to put our grades online, etc.

I actually had a four day weekend, but we all got up early to go to school on Friday because we didn't find out about (specifically our) classes being canceled until we got there. Sure, they mailed us. But they mailed at a time where half the class is on their way already.
They mailed at 8.57 while our classes started at 10.45
And lots of people are on their way for more than 1,5 hours.
It's really frustrating...

And ooh.... people be talking about romantic stuff again? :P

but you're shooting yourself in the knee, honestly. If your friendship deteriorates because you're going out with her ex months after they've broken up, that seems like quite the rocky friendship from the start. It's not like you stole him from her, or are doing it out of spite or anything like that. You'd date him because you two are both into each other, and that has absolutely nothing to do with your friend.
Were you planning on telling him "I like you too but your ex is my friend, so, you know, eh" ?

Does it count I have to tell I JUST went through a sort-of breakup of something that's not an actual relationship? A friend of mine, someone I know from LARP, just messaged me he wanted to stop the developing relationship between our characters, because he finds it too difficult to maintain a real relationship alongside a fictional. It's a shame, because our characters were getting along really well and they were just adorable together.

We agreed on this feeling like an actual breakup XD
But he hopes our characters will still be friends once his character tells mine he doesn't actually love her.
Their relationship wasn't even quite official yet. They had only said to "like" each other. About a year ago we agreed on them becoming a couple, and now he backs out. Now we both feel sad XD
