Reminds me of something that happened a couple of years ago with my little brother. At the time he was around 8 y/o and he was bawling his eyes out because of something dad had said. After a while I (his sister, maybe 13 at the time) finally calmed him down. He stopped crying and was still pretty angry with dad so he said "you're a piece of poop" and dad's immediate respond was "no, YOU'RE a piece of poop" which ofc made my brother starting crying again. I mean, was that really necessary?

Yeah but my brother is like really sensitive. He's autistic and has these breakdowns so yeah and as his father I can't believe you'd say such a thing you know? Like don't you know your own kid better than that xD

its unconclusive of what he has actually... he is autistic and a WHOLE lot of other things.. sigh..

The other day my mom (who doesn't live with my brother) talked about him and said, repeatedly, "he doesn't talk does he" and on and on as if he was... Idk, like he was a lot less functioning than he really is? Idk it just made me a bit mad cuz she doesn't even see him that often and yet she goes around talking about him as if she knows him and making his special needs the center of everything instead of what a lovely person he is idk sorry for the mini rant lol
