I saw a reaction video in which her friend stopped watching after 4 episodes because it was too scary. Is that the case because I can say there are no jumpscares

I hadn't even heard that it was supposed to be scary. I've just not been very interested in it. And it's weird bc really, it's totally up my alley. But I also don't really wanna watch it.
