Yikes that might be it too ;w; the people advised that I not dwell on it though, because the pups need my company and love, not my pity >u<
And most of their funds come from donations, I believe o: ! But they also do a lot of fundraisers. I've only been a part of it since July so I haven't taken part of much yet o.O I hope I get to soon though~

Sorry for answering both your questions late but I couldn't get on the internet much yesterday >.<
@Whimsical I have two dogs (One Beagel Mutt and one French Bull Wienie) Also is this volunteer thing at the shelter just for summer or something? (Seeing as though you started in July)
@Fielkun I have a very normal tan if that's what your asking, and no we do not just play during the day, in fact we usually play at night, (It's a marching band so we play at football games, only marching band competitions are during the day) but I only practiced with the band outside til lunch because I'm in the "Pit" (We don't march, we stand in the front~) and after lunch they practice marching only.
I think that answered it but I was a little confused so sorry if I rambled >.<

Your pups are soo cute omg ;w; how long have you had them for? And yeah, this shelter is a summer thing though I'm definitely going to go during the school year when I have time! I really love it there.

Yeah! My favorite one Jack was about to get adopted today but the person changed her mind when she saw another, white pup.. Jack has pretty much been there the longest so I feel really bad for him D: I'd love to adopt him myself but I can't afford to take care of him ;w;

@Whimsical I have had the Beagel mutt (Daisy) for 11-12 years and the French Bull Wienie (Luigi) for 1-2 years~~~ Also it sounds pretty fun<3
@Ohphie I'm not sure how devoted the thread is to Naruto (Hasn't even watched past Shippuden) but I hope you still like it~~ And Welcome~~~ (Even though I've only been on this thread for a week:P)

Oh wow, Daisy is an oldie ;w; That's so precious though, haha. I've always wanted a dog *w* but I've also always wanted a hedgehog?? Those are really cute omg.

@Whimsical Oh my goodness! My sister always tells me that she want to buy an albino hedgehog and name it Fin~~ But parents are really against it :T

Why are you parents so against it though? D: is it because they're expensive to care for?
