Kingdom of Knuffel

Yeah I only get apples and cupcakes for regular knuffels.

It makes me feel a little bad for the WK, but then again they're hidden anyhow, so it's not often I even notice.

It's interesting to me that the apple and cupcake cost different amounts, though. I wonder what the reason for that is?

Yeah wild knuffels can’t even dig so I don’t even bother with the wilds I have on hand. I just leave them all at level 1 lol.

No idea. I don’t really care tbh lol.

I finally got my first wild knuffel to 100 so I've stopped feeding/playing with her because what's the point of continuing.

well they're different just in the fact that they're created by users, not by the kofk artists/mods. besides, can you even imagine how complicated it would be? a new code or whatever might be needed to allow each different wild knuffel to allow it to dig. i think its just so that it wouldn't get too complicated. besides, we get wild knuffel items every 10 levels so its a good compromise.

Which I also noticed but never really thought about it ^^;
So I just had a look and the cupcake has 20 happiness per hour while the apple has only 15 energy per hour. Could that be the reason? any way I love these items! I think they are well worth their price

Oddly enough I was here when the wild knuffel feature was created. Firn was very upfront about the fact that coding them to dig would be a nightmare and there would be no good way to balance out the elements. At the time she was also still trying to get the battle feature up and running so if the wild knuffel had elements it would have further complicated things there.

i was here too but i guess i wasn't paying much attention at the time. still, even with my limited knowledge, my first thought would've been that it would have taken forever just to code every wild knuffel with the same features as the regular ones, with elements and digging options.

I do find it pretty neat that Firn found a way to get user-created knuffel in officially at all. The Knuffel clothing items are a fun way to make them meaningful outside of the digging system.
