Are they allowed to do that? They used Firn's base from this site in the design...wouldn't that be considered copyright infringement?

If that's the case they can get into major trouble for selling something that they had no permission to sell to begin with. Points on DA is just like real money for them, and Firn strictly said that selling a knuffel for any kind of profit is prohibited. And even if the knuffel was not excepted, they used the base that Firn gave out for the use of creating wild knuffels, which in turn seems like at least a reason to ban that person because technically speaking they did break one of the rules that Firn made. Unless she only meant that for designs that were accepted?

Please don't make a big deal out of it. I would feel soooooo bad if I got her ban
by posting her work without her consent.
I am sure it was design only. I did read somewhere that Firn allow RL commission of wild knuffel but you can't submit them on the site. So I am sure she is fine and if not...I hate myself for getting her in trouble. I just really though it was such a good wild knuffel.

Well, don't think of it as getting someone into trouble.
Would you like it if someone took your base and sold it against your wishes?
If she did wrong, she did wrong.
And if that's the case, something should be done.
You don't ignore something wrong.
If it's fine, don't worry about it.

I'm actually not making a big deal, just wondering if they are even allowed to do that. 
I tend to try and seek clarification on things I'm not completely sure is permitted, though I honestly do think it is wrong of them to sell the design even just for the reason that its not 100% their own work. And Firn did say commissions were okay, as long as they were not paid for using real money or online money of any kind, but as I said, I don't know if that applies for only those submitted as knuffels and accepted, or any design that has been submitted whether or not they get rejected. I'm just trying to reach a logical understand on how such things work, that's kind of what it means to be a math major, even if I'm more of an applied mathematician then a philosophical/complex and multidimensional problem solver. (note, the later are more of the ones that win things like the Nobel Peace Prize ).

Don't worry, I had similar thoughts when I saw that knuffel yesterday. I was going to ask the same thing in here myself. That base is typically Kofk, so if you ever saw it anywhere you'd know who it belongs to.
Ruby, don't stress about it. The picture is public so you have every right to link to it and you didn't do anything horrible and nasty! :)

Yes it is adorable and it says it is closed... but look at Ninja Ai's they are so cute. I have to wait until the price goes down some so I can get them both.
