@Floofy:
Gah.. stuff like that always makes me wonder. :/
'Cus some parents just don't mind invading the privacy of their children. I would not be surprised if my dad had read the journal I accidentally left out the other day. Although, it's only a page and if he did read it, well, then maybe he'll start to realize my stand point on things. Aaaanyways.. it's a rather curious thing that your mom tried to get on your computer while you were asleep. If she's not the kind to invade your privacy then it certainly must be odd... Either way, I agree, I'd prefer if people just asked rather than doing things like that.

And to anyone:
I saw some chatter about Dr.Who?
I don't really know anything about the show, but I did notice that most fans of Dr.Who are also big fans of the BBC Sherlock series.. which I had decided to give a try, and it was FANTASTIC. He plays such a wonderful Sherlock. :3

*yawn* =_= I just slept forever and I'm still so tired!

My parents give me a lot of privacy. They even gave me the whole basement and built a door at the bottom for me. Next step is fixing up the bathroom down here so I have my own. :p
(We tore it apart cause tree roots kept making the drain back-up. It's easier to snake if there's no toilet. XD But the past year has barely backed-up so it should be ok now)

Oh, thats nice of them! :D
My parents don't give me much privacy in certain regards... though more than the parents of some friends I've had. >w<

My parents have always been like that. They're really nice about personal space. They only get into your business if you're messing up, which for me never really happened. *good girl*

@Selli: She used to spy on everything I did when I was younger. I don't believe she would do anything like that now because I'm 23. @-@ But if she was trying to get on my computer today (still not positive of it) she might have been trying to look for pictures for her quilt is the only reasoning I could see in her looking at my stuff. Or maybe just turning it on to look at my folders with the other computer since we have homegroups linked up. (I have no pictures, though, just drawings and random screencaps XD )

I've always sort of wanted to watch Sherlock. XD

Ooooh! Sherlock is really good! You should give it a try!

And I don't really mind my mother searching through my laptop simply because I know she can't... She can barely search for something she wants online... My father and I are trying to teach her, but it isn't as easy since she's not all that interested besides for work purposes and the occasional mail...

*falls limply on pc keyboard* It's too early to be up... :mcdead:

fff, I taught my mom the basics of a computer.... and now she never leaves the thing! She's always on that site.. My Yearbook (I think) and playing games. XD She enters little 'tournaments' and wins like $4. It's cute cause she'll come brag to me about it. XD

But she never messes with my laptop since she has her own. :p

We tried to teach my grandmother how to use a computer because she reads...A LOT and she always logs what books she reads and writes a little summary of them or her thoughts on it and I believe she's always losing her logs. So mom was trying to show her how to use excel or whatever to electronically log all her stuff but she wants nothing to do with the computer she spent all that money on...But then again whenever she has problems with it, mom is the only one who's willing to help her with it but we live in a different state so she can't. /:

Aww. My grandma has no interest in computers. :p She's never even tried one out. XD But she mostly watches politic stuff on TV so I don't think she's missing out too much.

I can't even imagine one of my grandmothers near a computer, one has trouble with the size of the letters and just isn't interested, the other wouldn't be interested either unless it's a gossip magazine or something...
Both of them aren't all too fond of electronics... It runs in the family as electronics hate me and my mother...
