Ah, you're right. I forgot the way your other one's hair changed so I just went and had another look at him. It's likely fine, I was just wondering.
I could think of a couple where they got buns on the head but still had length so I wasn't sure. Tried to think of others but I can't recall right now. Too darn many knuffel I've seen. x_x
Edit - Meh, just went through my folder and saw this
geisha girl. She starts with long hair and it's clipped up by stage two, so I guess that's a fail from me. -_- *Slinks away*

Fixed it. I'll post them in the rejection thread and ask Firn about it since it is not quite clear. I've gone from having obvious long hair, to hair behind the knuffel, and then the braid thrown in front of the knuffel and that was accepted. 
But better to be safe then sorry. :3
