It's like a layered ice-cream desert.
Different places do it differently, but you can have things like fruit, icecream, jelly, sponge, Alcohol, wafers, sauce, jam, cream ect.. all in a tall glass.
Anyways, peanuts are yuck!

Oh, interesting. Not a very appetizing name, though.
Hard pretzels are okay, but mostly because of the texture rather than taste.
