It didn't make me feel any better.

It's not the reference I used to name the birds, it's purely coincidental that I like both names xD
But Rebecca Shaw is... was... a person I sort of admire, even though I'm not exactly sure why. A female pilot who was about to become a captain at the mere age of 24, was a flight instructor, and had quite some flight hours on her name for her age. Not thát special, but still, her story really strikes me and I sort of look up to her every time I read something about her. She crashed in Buffalo in 2007. No one survived that crash, it even killed someone on the ground, and actually nothing was ever found back of the pilots. It's really sad. She was married, about to become captain, she probably had everything she could've ever wanted. (At least, everything I myself would ever want.) Except for a high salary, and because of that neither she nor her captain could afford a place to sleep that night, so when they took off they were already exhausted and made a crucial mistake because of that.

So naming anything that flies after her, be it deliberate or not, may not be the best idea if you're superstitious xD

I'm starting to realize that I put all my attention
toward things that aren't really my favourite things. And then people
think of me the wrong way. xD Like. The other day, Masami saw something
I wrote somewhere, and she was like. " . . . Your favourite band is Dir En Grey?"
Which I guess WOULD seem weird considering I'm always all over
Korea's dick all the time. Lol.
And people seem to think that my favourite colour is purple and lavender
and shit when it's not. My favourite colour is green. xD
Just. Little things like that. I just kinda noticed. All thanks to Masami for
telling me she didn't know my favourite band was Dir En Grey.
