Mood: Hey doc, I'm not feeling well. I've had the tits all day.
Well and I'm not getting my loan so it's gonna take a few years, unless instead of working and saving up for the training in Belgium I manage to butt my way into the only Dutch school that would allow me for Aviation Studies... it's a longer education so it contains more than just training to be an airline pilot. And it would mean I could stay at home, and since it's an actual college, I would get to keep my study finances and free public transport card. Which would take away all the financial shit.
Only thing is that the test I'll have to do for this one will be way different. I already have to know a lot about math and physics - which I don't. :')
I'm already glad they have this possibility though, because of my age. Luckily they also have those tests in August so I have until then to armor up my achilles heel...

Yeah, of course it is, tomorrow, Firn spawns those cute bouquets every year on Mother's Day, right? ;D

And lol, I wish we had a right to keep guns to protect our homes too. xD

Too bad we can't do that in Massachusetts.

Real talk for a moment: Can we Go back to that month that Pokemon Go was released. Everyone was so happy and the only people down my throat were old men at work who complained about a cell phone app kids were playing. Can we have that? Please.

Or in Holland.
...wait. We can do that in Holland.
It's just frowned upon.

Massachusetts just doesn't let us do it at all. There are so many rules here.

Well, the rules are certainly there. You can't do it.
But in the end, if someone wants to, they can do it anyway, because the government kind of lacks a spine. x'D

Chippy, I believe you are mistaken.
It is absolutely legal to use any necessary force to protect oneself, family, and personal possession from any threat, given they have sufficient means to believe that another individuals intends to threaten the personal safety of themselves, their family members, or their personal property, in the state of Massachusetts.
Massachusetts just makes it difficult to own said means of protection, because they feel if they provided their citizens with anything more menacing than a spork, every law-abiding citizen would turn into raging psychopathic serial killers and go on a rampage of murder and pillage. Despite the fact that the majority of all homicides committed in Massachusetts are committed using illegally-acquired weaponry.
The State of Massachusetts also prefers to ignore the fact that a similar ban of certain types of citizen-owned firearms in England in 1997, {specifically air pistols}, which results in an 300 percent rise in annual homicides and armed burglary crimes committed within the city limits. This is most likely due to the fact that law-abiding citizens were no longer able to protect themselves against these criminals, while the ability for criminals to obtain illegally-acquired firearms was not affected. If anything, the black market for illegally-acquired firearms was strengthened by this ban by creating a clientele of previously law-abiding citizens whom were willing to obtain illegally-acquired firearms in order to protect their personal safety, as well as the safety of their family members.
Massachusetts officials also prefer to forget the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution which states, and I quote, "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."
If we cannot count on our government leaders to protect our most basic rights as defined in the United States Constitution, which defines the very ideals in which this country was based on, then it is our right and our duty as citizens to take action to remove these officials from office, a right specifically stated in The Declaration of Independence. "But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

Oh, hello, Merry, my dear!
And how are you on this fine day, dollface? :)

I am not usually one to rant, but I'll be damned if the United States government tries to infringe on my rights as a citizen.
Massachusetts officials can have my guns when they pry them from my cold, dead fingers.

I'm fineish, thanks, yourself? :)

Hahaha clear language!
For me it's weird to imagine that's so normal to you, though.
Here weapons are only allowed as a hobby. My dad happens to love that hobby so I'm not a stranger to guns. But people who own guns nowadays are rare, and every time there's an incident - whether it concerns registered weapons or not - they make it harder and more expensive >>
I'm not even allowed to shoot with bow and arrow because I'm not a registered member at my dad's club o.O

In America, firearms are used for recreation and protection.
However, many radical government officials are passing laws that make it very difficult to use firearms for either purpose.
In order to use a firearm for recreation, you must be in an area with a certain number of acres of undeveloped land. The number varies depending on the state. However, with cities utilizing every square inch of land, it is almost impossible to find a legal place to shoot.
So people turn to shooting ranges. Not only are shooting ranges few and far between, they are also very expensive and have countless rules restricting the type of firearm you can use. Me and my family end up driving out of state just to escape these ridiculous laws.
Ridiculous laws also make using firearms for protection very difficult.
Americans are very sue-happy. For example, there was a case recently that a man tried to break into an elderly woman's house by entering through the skylight in her kitchen. The criminal ended up falling onto her kitchen knife set when he tried to crawl through the window. Then he had the gall to sue the elderly woman for medical damages. :/

America the free my arse.
