I love these games! Wish my avatar wasn't so boring right now.
The optimistic water being that summons rediculously powerful creatures to fight for the party. Uses healing or scrying magic when not summoning things.

a mage that wields ice and snow magic but can channel fire when she gets really angry, hinted at by the red eyes.

The neko assassin that fights against the party but after the bad guy betrays her she reluctantly joins them for help against the bad guys minions who are out to get her.

A dryad of the forest, whom you find entangled in the enemies lies, and you the hero save - she becomes a helpful guide through the forest, helping you to find the enemies lair and defeat him.

I'd say.... A character who the hero meets on his/her travels, this character seems good at first but then, BOOM! Boss battle with its' true form, a nine tailed fox! :D
