Officially, the OSU colors are "scarlet and gray". So gray would be very safe. The downside would be that I would be wearing all gray, which is, gack, gross. The Goldy costume is probably the wisest choice.

I'm becoming less poor by the month. Money just roooooollls in. I'm starting to go into Christmas-present-mode already.

You could steal Aliens Guy's confidence and combine it with Conspiracy Guy's data. You'd be unstoppable.

I really want to watch Castlevania. I saw some rough animation of a fight scene by one of the creators and I can't stop thinking about it. I think I'm in love. With an animated fight scene.

So scarlet would also be very safe. All scarlet. You can call yourself the scarlet pimpernel.

If you're so not poor, why don't you just get your own Netflix account? You're so in love, after all. Love conquers all paywalls.

I'm not high enough level to combine memes. I'll stick to conspiracy theory guy, the dumbfounded white creature, and the shocking gerbil.

You want me to look like the pinkest humanoid in existence? Because that would make me look like the pinkest humanoid in existence.

Love may conquer all paywalls, but love is also concerned with the amount of time I would spend watching netflix if I were paying for my own netflix. I would feel obligated to get my money's worth.

I read this as "I'm not high enough to combine memes." I was confused, but also thought, fair enough, maybe you need to be under the influence to truly innovate memedom.
Are those the three memes you're picking to represent yourself? Bold choices.

That was the plan, yeah. Then people will think you have a disease and they won't bother you.

You could just pay for one month's worth of Netflix. That's an option, right?

Yes, they are. What are your three memes?

If I fall down the Netflix rabbithole, I don't think I'd be able to make it out again. I am very weak-willed.

Gyahh. Don't ask hard questions. How come you get the white thing? I thought I was the white thing. I can't even think of any other memes that would represent me right now. Impossible question.

I'm working with a set of fossils on my own right now, and I was looking at a partial tooth row, and I thought, Is this P4 and M1? And I checked and I was right, it was P4 and M1. I was so proud. I am so full of knowledge now. Real paleontologist, that is me. Although I do keep freaking out because these are real fossils and I am being allowed to handle them unsupervised.

Well, sure. You could just pay for one month and then stop, maybe? Get your one show finished by then and then no more forever.

I'm not attached to the white thing. I do it occasionally, though. If I can give you my three memes so easily, I'm sure you can manage with a few minutes of thinking.

Nerd. Nerd. Nerdy-nerd. You've turned into the Fox.

Once you've paid the price once it starts to seem reasonable. You start to like it. It becomes a part of your life. You can't let temptation in through the door.

The white thing is definitely mine. The white thing is me. Other than that... The kid who forgot to add water to his microwave ramen and is standing there in blank-eyed defeat. And... the set of screenshots of The IT Crowd about acting normal at a dinner party. Those are all I can come up with. They're not very good.

I have a band concert next Tuesday. There's a livestream if you're incredibly bored and want to hear some mediocre Tichelli and unenthusiastic Sousa.

Maybe YOU can't let temptation through the door.

I haven't seen the ramen kid or the IT Crowd screenshots. How do I know these are even memes?

What time on Tuesday? Better yet, what MN time on Tuesday? I TA on Tuesday evenings, officially until 8:10. Usually less.

Why mediocre Tichelli and unenthusiastic Sousa? Are the pieces bad, or does your director just suck? Have you considered being more enthusiastic?

We're playing above average Whitacre (Godzilla) and enthusiastic but currently sort of bad Boysen (Alchemy). But we have several more weeks to be less bad. Concert is the day before Halloween (we will also be giving candy to children). Probably also livestreamed.

I... honestly don't know how you've read as many BuzzFeed articles as you have and not seen the ramen kid. He's iconic. I admit that the IT Crowd screenshots are more obscure and I usually only see them brought out on tumblr.

I'm pretty sure the concert is at 7:30 Ohio time, so 6:30 your time. So pretty bad for your TAing schedule. I won't be offended if you can't tune in.

Perhaps I do us a disservice in my adjective choice. Our director is pretty good, but the band is so big that we're not suited to some of the pieces we're playing and not all of the suckiness can be purged. And the french horn section is probably the only one unenthusiastic about the Sousa. Everyone else seems pretty fired up by it, actually.

Will I get candy if I watch your livestream?

Maybe I only read worthwhile Buzzfeed articles. Eh? Ever think of that, Ramen Kid?

You should record it for me, make it nice via video editing and then give it to me for Christmas. Or Thanksgiving. Whichever you prefer.

University Band is bigger than it's ever been, and we're doing just fine. And choice of appropriate repertoire is a big responsibility of the director. I'm gonna say "pretty good" is probably going too far if this is the result.

Maybe you should be better at marches. Who wouldn't be excited about off-beats and the occasional counter melody?

You'll get candy if you buy yourself candy. I hear you're very wealthy, so it shouldn't be a problem for you.
