I wanted to spend my day on KofK today, but homework got to me. XD Bad luck with the donuts. But I had a deadline tomorrow and I procrastinated, it's my own fault. To be fair, I had to do one of the most tedious tasks of 3D modelling...
Oh that is very true! I am scared of logging into two other forums because I have missed sooo much, and I am someone who always wants to try and catch up...

I think we still have the whole of today to earn donuts, right? Or at least I hope so because I still have a few flower colours to get XD Hoping to make a start on the brooch this time around as well.
I'm so busy right now because I procrastinated all my work while I was ill :'D Well, I'm still ill, but the work won't wait any longer.

Oh but if you have been ill, I totally understand! Hope you're managing properly, but yeah, gotta do what must be done in the end.

Yessss I got one brooch. When I post this, I will make it two :D so that's better than nothing for sure.
Yeeeah. Wish it would go away XD the only problem with being a freelancer is that you can't really be sick for long before you have to go make some money.

Oh yes, that is very true (though I am not experienced in this heh). Do you have friends/family as backup if things really get rough at least?

Kind of, but I don't like to lean on my partner to make all the money for the house. I know he'd do it if I asked him too but it's not very fair on him. Plus I like to be able to take care of things myself.

I understand, but that is why I used the word backup.
So it'd at least not end you up on the streets or something because who-knows-what-happens.

I would only be able to get support so far from others anyway - my parents don't have a lot of money spare and my partner's on a basic lower management salary, hasn't been working in his industry long enough to get big bonuses or what have you. So we'd scrape by for a very short while and then be in trouble.

Ah that's still not very good then.
But a lot can happen in a short while. Are you still feeling ill by the way? Or are you recovering/recovered?

Well, I'm mostly feeling better but I have this cough still XD Doctor told me that sometimes your body gets a bit overzealous and carries on producing stuff in your lungs long after your cold is gone. So I'll keep coughing until it stops. So far I managed to first hurt my back coughing, then when I was trying to support that, hurt my ribs 
We have a running joke at the moment of "what will be wrong with me next?"
Oh well, at least I've not got the other symptoms any more!
