Yeahhh but lotus flowers don’t bloom til the second year…8U and i haven’t been able to successfully overwinter them yet sooo…xD new batch every year! XD
Well it didn’t matter if it froze a little. O: i mean, if lotuses were planted in an actual pond, the water would still freeze over. XD but the problem this time was that the ice actually punctured a hole into my crappy pot so that was the problem. XD

Hopefully you can get a lotus to overwinter one of these winters. Was it a ceramic or a plastic pot. I feel like if you get the right kind of plastic pot it would work through the winter?
Oh I have tried growing a little strawberry garden indoors once. I got a "starter pack" of strawberry seeds and some supplies in a "dollar" deals sections (I think it was $5 so not really a dollar) but I don't know why I fail so hard lol. I know tomatoes can be grown indoors because my mom did that one year for some reason.

Tbh, this little planting thing was something i was doing just for fun lol. I just bought a cheap planter from the dollar store. XD
Oh we used to have wild strawberries here. Dunno if someone had planted them previously but we used to have that….but we got rid of it because it was attracting the wrong kind of pest attention lol.

LOL I mean it's all fun then. I would be so determined now to try and make it successful.
OH yeah, I remember my dad used to have wild strawberries growing in the pasture, but he had (still has) donkeys so not like they were going to be eaten. Also had a mulberry tree that we would pick from. I remember soaking them in water before eating and getting grossed out by the buggies that would wiggle out of them before we sorted the good ones out.

I have a blackberry bush in my garden; but it's more of a nuisance than anything; it's very thorny and grows AALLLL over the place. A nightmare to keep under control (which is why it's currently an absolute mess)
I've heard that peppers are fairly easy to grow? Might give them a chance...

Yeah the only thing we plant are like tomatoes and like…chinese melons or eggplant and stuff. We also grew some chilli peppers and got like…sooo many lol. XD and my sister attempted to grow normal small peppers as well.
Maybe we should try to grow some sweet peppers next year. I can start them indoors, like i did with the chilli peppers.

Ooh. I forgot about peppers. I should add that to my list of veggies to grow. I should start collecting the seeds from the ones I eat so I don't have to buy them lol. I eat a lot of bell peppers mostly. I made a huge batch of stuffed peppers to put in the freezer for easy meals a couple weeks ago.
Eggplants sound good too. I haven't had one of those in forever tho. I honestly don't really see them in stores here unless I'm not looking hard enough.

Oh yeah, we saved seeds from peppers and stuff and then we’d try to start them. XD dunno if it always works but it worked last year with the chillies. Actually we probably got too many lol. XD
Eggplants are indeed good. C:

I don't often eat eggplants (aubergines as we call them lol) I had a bad experience as a kid and it makes me nervous to eat them LOL
I like most veggies but they can be bad if cooked poorly. I usually like baking them or frying them cause boiling them just makes it seem bland/too soft for me.
I might try and grow a bell pepper; if you can grow it from seeds - I'll look into it!

I like eggplant. We usually steam it but we also stir fry or stuff them. C:
EDIT:
GUESS WHO GOT A NEW CUSTOM PET. ME. It was over 800k but still, i now have a cute sharkray lol. I was scared about the bidding tho, since it was supposed to end at around…4-5am…8U and i’m like “I NEED TO SLEEP DURING THAT TIME”. And bid increments were like 5potatoes….8U
