My guess is not for a while yet. I don't think they'll have windows like FR does

I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop for beta testers. I mean, if we keep EVERYTHING, then we have this huge enormous advantage, but if we lose most of the stuff, they might lose a bunch of disgruntled beta testers.
So I dunno.

You would ask me that! *scurries off to check*
EDIT: It was the Aurora Fairy. I got a Brooch (gold).

Taking everything for beta testing would be like gaia resetting everything so even all those that had been there for years have nothing and need to start from scratch like everyone else

I know nothing of gaia, sorry, that simile doesn't actually tell me anything. Except I think you are saying that beta testers will probably just keep the advantage?
@luvloveless: well, of COURSE I asked you that! Fairies are exciting and awesome and should be celebrated hugely.

Yay for the Aurora Fairy!

Okay, replace Gaia with KofK
Not as long-lived, but long enough to get the point across
So your entire inventory. All your Knuffel. Everything. Gone. For the sake of "an even playing field"

It's not the same though, since when you signed up as a beta tester you knew it was a beta and the possibility was there for things being not permanent. They never promised you could keep anything.
I do imagine that it would be a better choice to let people at least keep the villagers though, since it is something to grow attached to. They could reset the career progress though, as well as items you have. That might be reasonable.
In general though, a site like this always needs to be balanced so that newer players feel like they have a chance at getting somewhere, so beta testers being a bit ahead of everyone shouldn't be a problem as long as they don't have a ton of things that become way harder to obtain in the process of the beta. My guess is they will only reset things like these, where they later decide something has to be more difficult for everyone, so it would be unfair to have it from before that change.

Still, a complete reset might end up with them losing a whole lot of players.
Let just enjoy the game for now and see how things will end up. :}

Well, there's been nothing beta tester exclusive so far, so no point in a reset
Unless their server(s) that hold player data dies and they no backup
Which would be sad and really dumb because HAVE A FRIGGIN BACKUP
Something similar happened to Syndrone, and they had to roll back by three days
The user base got together to help those that lost entire accounts. We also got a warning ahead of time

I know. I was on Syndrome when that happened.
Don't really know why I lost my interest in that site as fast as I did. :}
