That's a lot of classes. I guess since you're not working it isn't too terrible then? Full time student.
Ugh. I always hated when teachers didn't know what the fuck they were doing.

Thank you @ the avi compliment <3
=A= sorry I've been so inactive... my brother's friend's cat had kittens and one of them was rejected by the mom so they gave it to me to care for.
I've had to bottle feed it every 2 hours. @_@
The shelter here said they'd put it down so I can't give it to them. But we found a no-kill volunteer shelter that said they have a mom cat that might surrogate.. but they never answered our calls and now they're closed till wednesday. =_=
it's been super stressful.

Why did the mommy cat reject it. And why would a regular shelter just kill a kitten?

Aw, I'm sorry it's so difficult for you. Parenthood is hard to baby anythings. They need so much attention.
Mothers of any species will reject babies for tons of reasons. Don't like the way it smells, had too many babies to take care of, just doesn't like the baby.
Also shelters have so many animals at them that they often end up killing some. A kitten that young can't survive without a lot of round the clock care and the shelters have so many other charges they can't put that much energy in an individual. So they would kill it humanely so it doesn't starve to death or something.
Spay and neuter your pets people! There are WAY too many homeless animals for people to keep letting their pets make more.

Well... it didn't make it. :( It was doing well and then very suddenly became lethargic and passed. It looked really happy and comfortable at least. And it was loved. It's been really sad even though I knew the odds of survival were extremely low. =_=
Idk why the mom rejected it. Maybe it was the runt? Maybe it was sick? I never saw the mom, I only know what I was told.
And the shelter would have killed it because they had no surrogates and I guess with it only being a few days old it was too young for them to handle. ;_; It's really sad that the place that had a mom never got back to us. It might have had more of a chance..
Yeah, I made sure my pets are all fixed. I heard my brother's friend bring in the kitten and my stomach dropped because I knew they'd bring it to me and I knew it'd probably die.
It was so much stress for me this morning that I cried for a while and then slept for 12 hours straight. =_= But I feel better knowing how loved and cared for it was and that I did everything I could possibly have done to give it it's best chance. It's just such a shame.
I know I couldn't have done anything else, but I somehow feel guilty.. like people will think that I didn't do all I could. *sigh*
