Plus the one thing I hate most about Dutch Theater shows is that they are always performed in Dutch.
There is nothing more irritating than going to something you know and everything is off. :}

Now I'm just thinking about people being in plays illegally. Like the speak easys we had during prohibition. Except now they're theaters that are underground. lol.

I feel like underground plays have been a thing back in the day...think I read about some that went around during the Cultural Revolution, since they had like that set of seven or something operas/plays that were the only ones theatre troupes could "legally" perform.

There are underground theater groups. They have blitz performances, that get announced only a few hours in advance and such.
But I've been out of the loop for so long don't know of any active right now. :}

I was in a play once...in the 5th grade.

I was in a couple of plays at church. I was Mary once and then I was doing something with burnt cookies. But the damned oven door thing wouldn't close! So embarrassing.

I've done a lot of singing gig type of things.

I did a narration spot in second grade and a shepherd for a church play (same church where the pastor has a katana. A cheap one, but still) and that's it :')

I got my degree in theatre but for screenwriting. Acted in high school but always preferred the backstage work so I house and stage managed a lot in college.
