Lol no but I will envy you just a little bit lol. Altho, there’s still that nice breeze coming in from the open window here lol.

Yeah but the breeze isn’t here all the time so I’m hot when it doesn’t blow lol.

Are you like a turtle in that you love heat and bask in it, but then too much is suddenly too much and you have to go cool off at once?
For some reason I have a strong image of you as a turtle now.

Nope I hate heat lol I’m the type who will suffer it out until it’s too much. Like in this case, I don’t want to turn on the fan bc it’s a waste of electricity since the fan has been on all night.

Huh.
Why have it running when you're not awake to feel it?
Wouldn't it make more sense to run it during the day?

Uhhh the fan needs to be at night bc it’s hot? We don’t have cooling systems here, we have to buy our own fans and ACs lol.

But... at night is when it cools down naturally anyhow. Without the sun to heat things up, the earth slowly cools off. There's lag, but it's the general trend.
So if you're only going to run the fan for part of the time, wouldn't it be more efficient to run it during the day, when it's typically hotter, and you're awake to notice the difference?

Yeah but it’s still hard to sleep with all that residual heat. Even if the temp goes a bit down, it’s not by much.
Besides, there’s “peak” times here where electricity is much higher than normal. Like the price of electricity will go down in the evening through the night. But the price will go up during awake hours. That’s the reasoning for not turning on the fan during the day unless necessary.

Oooooh, that would change matters a lot.
I get it now, thanks for explaining.
Hm.
So that's why everyone wants to work at an ice cream parlor over the summer.
If you work at a malt shop, you're always right next to a cold environment, no matter how high the temperature gets outside!
