personally, I can understand what you mean,
when I'm on American sites, I always wonder what the server time is
but honestly, Firn countered that by adding the server time visible on every single page on this site (which I can't remember having seen on any other site, so...)
all you have to do is compare the server time with the time the knuffel expires, and voila
oh, you do have to remember the fact that there is such a thing as different server time, but that shouldn't really be that hard right?

this has probably been suggested before, but I would love a feature that allows you to see how many users are logged in when you're on, aside from your friends, cause sometimes when you want to chat, you wonder if there is anyone on and sometimes wish to know if it is worth waiting a while to see if someone has answered your post, or if its better to just check later whether there are many people logged in or not.

A long time ago, someone suggested something cool to work around the "how many people are online" thing. You go to the Forums main page, click on the "mark forums read" link on the top right, wait a couple of minutes, reopen the forums main page, then take a look at which forums are marked as having new posts with this button
instead of this button
. The ones that have new posts, well, people are obviously active currently in those forums. It won't tell you how many people are active there, but at least it'll tell you where they are unlike just plain counters that only say how many are online, and won't tell you how many are actually in the forums and not just feeding their Knuffel or whatever.

I remember a while back talking about achievements.
Was that ever going to be a real thing or not?
It would certainly make me spend more time on here if we had achievements.

Achievements is absolutely something we are still considering, though it faces us with the problem that we would need to log every single action on KOfK permanently to determine when a user has achieved something, and we previously had the problem that our server was running full with logs, so we had to cut down on that and also clear the logs from time to time.
Until we find a solution for that problem achievements have to be put on hold.

Ah, yeah, that sounds difficult.
But I'm happy you're really considering it.
On other sites and even in video games, I find myself having to try to get every achievement possible xD

I guess I'm posting in the right thread since it's an event.
Firn, could we possibly have another yukata summer event?
The first one was so good and I think it would be nice to have another.
Maybe instead of sensus and uchiwas, we could have candied apples, dango, chocolate covered bananas or watermelon slices on a stick.

This is how I feel every time a Japanese themed things are requested: I would love to see items that are more other culture themed. We do have some, but we definitely are dominated by Japanese inspired items. Not that Japanese inspired items are bad... I just would like it if other cultures were also given some more attention to round it all out.
