Mermaids - I'm not so sure. I've heard people say they were mistaking big fish for mermaids and stuff like that. Could be a fear of the water, I guess. I know there's a lot of creatures in folklore that like drowning people 8u

When I was a kid, I'd take horror books out from the library and a few of them had stories from all around the world.
One in particular was centered around Africa and traveled all the way to Louisiana.
I thought it was cool because it was just stories for and about black people.

Most of the stuff I've read has been from US and Europe.
Places like Ireland and Scotland have A LOT of folklore and myths 8u
I love learning about Japan too. I have a couple books with information on them about legends and stuff.
There also seems to be a lot of creepy stuff in The Philippines xD

So what happens is we're constantly in need of some more shopping, constantly running out of things but not getting a chance to get them, and constantly having to schedule our lives around the 2-3 trips we need to make each week.
