I just like it when the situation is clear and predctable. I hate surprises. Today I was surprised on a call at work. Wasn't nice. Almost shat my pants from the stress.
Responsibility isn't for me, especially with things I don't care about. If I care, put me in charge, if I don't, give it to soembody else cause I'm gonna maybe do it well, but it'll ruin me stress-wise.
Yeah, but it's supposedly worth it if done right. You have control over everything, so you're responsible for everything (either your success or failure, but even that sometimes can be just bad luck on your side) but the major upside is the money. In self-publishing you get all the money instead of something silly in traditional publishing. It depends on what the author's okay with and what they expect.
