Asnath was the first to enter. She chose the Sociology Department. However, at the end of her first year she met Sakana, the priest of the Knuffel Sanctuary, and abandoned the next course starting her second year at the Department of Theology. At present she is a diligent and successful third year student. If she proceeds doing well and carrying out her research work, next year she will get the right to lecture on theology within her topic. The only obstacle on her way to teaching success is that she has a romantic interest in the Head Priest. Hopefully, love will not make her give up her education.

Due to some obvious circumstances Asnath prefers to study/sleep/play in the water. But if you think that she won't be able to teach a fire or an air knuffel, you are wrong. Her tail easily changes into a pair of legs, but she doesn't like walking and rarely uses this ability.

Asnath can be found in the Room 1 or in the Pool. She seldom visits the Hall, but it's possible sometimes to spot her in the Library where she pops in to get some material for her research. Anyway don't try to look for her where paper is kept; she uses only wax books and hard means of storage – stone plates.

Her Academy friend is Jemima. She used to be friends with Aldad but have been very angry with him recently and they no longer have friendly relations. She also likes Juval, but he doesn't show much interest in her company. Ziv - on the contrary - often turns to her for help and advice.

Aldad entered the Academy due neither to his knowledge, nor to his hard work. And the only reason – he didn't have any. But he made 98% at the examination thanks to his talent. Indeed, anything he gets down to is finished nearly perfectly well. He can do anything. The only problem is… He's lazy. He doesn't believe in any god but FUN and if the process he needs to carry out promises no joy for him, he won't stir a finger. But once he realizes that as a result of his actions he will for sure get an enjoyable time… Well, his bright abilities serve him faithfully and he does whatever he has to better than anyone could even imagine.

He decided to study Mechanics but at the end of the first year understood that it wasn't his vacation in life. However, Aldad was too lazy to change the current department to another one… And even to think about any other department... And about his own department too. So he's now the second year student who's not really successful although promising.

He can be found in the Room 2, the Hall, the Playground and the Garage where he wants to put his motorbike. But it requires to be bought first. And this requires money. And money requires hard work and study or at least ANY sort of work and study. Perhaps the desire to have fun with the bike will make Aldad do his best one day.

His Academy friends are Janai and his own sister Mihal. He thinks that Nachshon is a very good playfellow and has greats sense of humor. He also likes chatting with Jekutiel, but the boy became unfriendly when Aldad has started going out with with Liora. He used to be friends with Asnath but they have quarreled not long ago because of what is taking place in his room in the evening.

Janai is the third year Astrology student. He entered the Academy soon after Aldad and easily made friends with him. What do they have in common? Luck. Talent. But unlike his friend, Janai does not rely on his good fortune. He uses his brilliant brains and outstanding ability to study at full scale. Oh yes, Janai was the first to enter the Academy with an excellent grade! He's planning to carry on scientific work and may be give some lectures upon Astrology later.

He's not too charming and what attracts knuffels to him is his intelligence. Janai is not very outgoing. He is friendly and will always offer you his help, but he'd rather refrain from chatting. The only exceptions are his close friends and there are not many of them. But despite his being so remote, two girls from the Academy are madly in love with him. I don't know how many adore him outside the campus.

Janai can be found in the Room 2, at the Library, on the Playground and in the Laboratory. He seldom visits the Hall as social issues do not interest him much.

His friends are Aldad and Mihal. He's also friendly towards Jemima (but she's still a child and too talkative to become a good friend for him) and enjoys the company of Liora and Nachshon. He's become extremely interested in Karen lately and this really looks like deep affection.

Mihal is Aldad's younger sister. And though her brother does not pay extra attention to this fact, the girl takes it to heart. She does not have her brother's abilities but is also capable. Perhaps, her not being so bright makes her attend everything in earnest and with more diligence. Her strong point – she is smart and has well-developed logical thinking. She's always been interested in alchemy so the Department of Chemistry was her choice. In a few weeks after she entered she told Aldad: "Why don’t they teach me something new? I'm sick of listening to predictable things which are already known." Mihal has keen interest in life and like kuffel who study it and enjoy just like she does. When she saw Janai she thought: "He's damn hot", when she heard him she said: "He's damn clever" and has fallen in love.

She does not like to think about her future career. "It's all for fun" – she told her room-mate Liora – "As long as it amuses you – you're in it. As soon as it starts boring – you retire. And it'll never be any other way. There's just NO other way." Convincing, right? And damn logical…

Mihal can be found in the Room 4, the Library, the Laboratory, the Playground, the Garage (with her brother) the Stadium and everywhere except the hall (because there she will for sure met Jemima that will do no one any good).

Her academy friends are her brother Aldad, Janai and Liora. She also gladly talks to Nahshon and highly values his sense of humor.

Jemima is a second year student now and she does her best. It's a bit hard for her – she's not very gifted. When she entered her grade was only 3% higher than the pass mark. But she chose two departments at the same time: Political Science and Law. However, she didn't spend all her time in the Library doing home tasks. The very day she entered she met Janai and became head over hills in love with him. It was hard for her to combine studies and attempts to attract his attention, but the girl did her best.

However, when she became a second year student, she gave up Law. She no longer thinks of professional success, her attention is concentrated on Janai.

Jemima can be found in the Room 1, the Hall, the Pool and the Playground. She avoids visiting the Academy Library for some mysterious reason. Reading is not her strong point, actually, and she also prefers to do her home tasks in her room or right in the Hall.

Her Academy friends are Asnath and Janai (he seems to be at least, but she would prefer him being her boyfriend). Jemima dislikes Mihal as a rival, but doesn't receive any hatred back from her. She has recently felt some interest to Jekutiel.

Jekutiel has come to the Academy because he has a dream. Jekutiel is dreaming of becoming the most famous genetic engineer in the whole history of the Kingdom. The only problem he had upon entrance was that he didn't know much about genetics. In fact he had only a vague idea about it. His exam results were slightly higher than the minimum pass mark. It was his self-confidence that helped him to overcome lack of knowledge. Indeed, he's sure that everything is possible to a willing heart but usually does not apply much effort to succeed. Eventually he gets less than wanted and gets upset, but never blames himself for being lazy. Jekutiel prefers to accuse his fortune for not fortuning him. Unfortunately, the fortune doesn't care. This was one of the reasons why he lost Liora.

At present he's a second year student and I strongly doubt that he will ever start teaching. In facts I'm glad because it's hard to imagine what kind of teacher Jekutiel would be. Especially since Liora has entered the Academy. They say he's been secretly in love with her for a long time. He even has totally given up his studies and went to the main building only to meet her there and see her to the campus. But since she started dating Aldad, things have changed.

He can be found in the Room 7, the Hall, the Stadium, the Playground, the Swimming Pool, the Club… The only reason to be there is still to see HER.

His academy friends were Aldad and Liora, but when they began to go out, he became more remote. Now he pays more attention to Jemima and finds her rather amusing. He shares the room with Ziv, but the boy irritates him sometimes and doesn't let him think of his love. However I must admit that he became friends with Dorith as soon as the girl entered. Perhaps he like ginger knuffel?

Nachshon (or Nahshon) came together with Liora, his closest friend. They took exams together and passed together, but then went to different departments. Nachshon entered the Department of History. With him you can't stop either laughing or crying, there's nothing in between. His smile can be sweet or bitter. He's not smiling at you, he's smiling at life. But it's not an angry mocking, it's a well-balanced irony. And because of that he's either adored or hated – only extremes. However, having such contradicting energy around him, he is an absolute harmony. There are a few students who can resist emotions provoked by him. Those are greatly respected by Nachshon and some of them are called his friends. He prefers sane knuffel. Among them he also names Karen. When Liora asked him about Vardith he said: "Four hands are more that enough to cope with her thorns", he simply has no interest in her.

As for the professional aspect, Nachshon feels one with history and it doesn't require much effort from him to study well. However, he carries out unreal individual research and has a lot of extra study. Surprisingly, he easily finds time to socialize with friends.

Nachshon can be found in the Room 5, the Library, the Swimming Pool, the Stadium, the Club and the Hall.

His friends are Liora, Mihal and Aldad. He also thinks that Janai is a good playmate, but admits that he would go no further than pure respect. As for his room-mate, he doesn't have friendly relations and there are some rumors although they have never said anything bad to or about each other. The person he pays extra attention to is Karen.
