I got myself one. It's pretty awesome that we got an event Knuffel. I was looking at previous Knuffels recently and noticed it's been a few years since the last event Knuffel was released. In Knufftropolis it shows up as a Water Knuffel, so at first I thought to myself, "Aw, I just got a Water Knuffel". I'm pretty glad that it's element is actually Fire. That probably should get fixed.

If you keep leveling it in water you can use it to dig outside it's element
knuffels raised outside of their element grow faster (digging gives you 20-30 exp instead of 5-10)
you just have to remember to keep putting points into water instead of fire

As for the gender it's probably leaning towards female just based on certain cues
but Firn has said before that Knuffels have always been a little ambiguous
so if you want to treat yours as male, that's your call
So far someone has already reached the next stage in this thread

She's cute! Though I noticed when I bought her she had the water icon, but now that I have her in my list, she's actually fire?

Not that I'm angry about it, I actually needed a fire knuffel so this worked out very very well for me!

Huh, I didn't know that about the leveling. I always just have them dig in what they're best at and level them in their native element ^_^*
