We got 5 or so inches last night, and they're saying we're going to get another 5 or so tomorrow. And it's cold now, so it's not melting at all. We'll have to break out the snowblower.

When it snowed, my dogs didn't seem to know what to do xD
They were like W"HAT IS THIS, BARK 8P"
One was elderly, and she looked so unhappy when she stepped in it xD

I have to admit I don't even bother taking my dogs out in the winter. They have permission to just go in the house once it gets cold. Because I have one who won't go to the bathroom outside unless it's a full blown walk (and I'm not walking when the snow banks pile up to the point that there is no side of the road anymore, and it's 20 degrees at best, and it's pitch black at 4:00). I have one who has chronic bronchitis, and she starts coughing really bad if she gets the least bit chilly. And I have one who's just plain dumb. They're all fairly small (the dumb one is 25 pounds and the other two are 7 pounds), and I'm home all day, so I can clean it pretty fast anyway.

My dogs seem to enjoy cool weather, so they run around and hope and play when it's chilly outside.
I actually need to get one of them a new tennis ball or toy.
I had bought him one and it fell apart after a day of playing.
He likes toys but my other dog doesn't.
Sometimes she will play with us and him, though.
I'll hand her his toy and she'll run off without and he'll look at me all heartbroken xD
Me: Here 8u/
Saya: 89 -takes toy and runs off- -drops it-
Hyde: 8,P!!
Me: Well, go get it 8u/
Hyde: 8P -trots over to get it-
Saya: -grabs it and runs off-
Hyde: >XP

Awwwww oh my Moi the way you describe your dogs make them sound so cute!

(and Sanssouci I bet your dogs are cute too hehe)
And man Sanssouci you got a ton of snow!

All the snow here has already melted! Do you think you'll get a picturesque white Christmas then?
Also, I got a job offer for a part-time job teaching kids how to code! :D Finally things are starting to come together a little bit. I also have an interview tomorrow for another part-time job I really like, so if I get that one too my finances will be all set. ^^

I had to go out with my mother today because she had a doctor's appointment, and she won't leave her dog home alone, so she picks me up, and then I have to sit in the car with the dog while she goes in. Well, it was only 16F today. And there is something wrong with her car, so she can't run the heater. So I had to sit in the car for an hour with her dog in 16 degree weather. It was so cold. I wore two pairs of pants, knee high boots, a long sleeved T-shirt, a sweater, two scarves, a hat with ear flaps, and a blanket, and I was still so cold. I ended up stuffing tissues in my boots around my toes and putting another over my nose and mouth. Her dog was shivering so bad, so then I gave him my blanket. It was so cold that the windows were fogging up with her breath, then the condensation froze, so the insides of all the windows were iced over, and then it started to snow, and her windshield wipers were frozen too.
Yup, we usually have a very white christmas lol!
Wow, that sounds like a good job!

Whew haven't been around in a while since I've been back at home hanging out with family! Hope everyone had a happy holiday season, and happy new year! Any resolutions? I kinda already started some of my "resolutions" (they're more like habits) last month, so I'm just going to continue on with them. :P One of them is to read every day for 30 minutes, and I've been keeping up with that for over a month!
Oh my Sanssouci, that cold. D: Makes me shiver just thinking about it! It's going to me life when I'm back ahhhh I'm not ready ahhh...

I don't usually do resolutions exactly, but I always set a reading goal! Usually it's to read at least 50 books a year. But I only did 30 in 2017, so I think I am going to keep it around 25-30 this year too.
It's -2F here now!

Usually I read every day.
However I am not controlling how many books read per year. It would be another obsesion for me and reading should be a pleasure and not a self-competition.
