The set is really lovely, although I think the hair is nothing special at all, but the rest is awesome and beautiful.

I liked the old pottermore a lot more (the new one is just confusing to me - I like how you could go through the story before and discover related writings that way), but one good thing is that you can login with your email instead of that awful username now :D

My patronus is a squirrel :) I don't feel like that's perfect, I don't have any special relationship with them, but I do like them and get excited whenever I spot one. But the patronus "quiz" also felt really weird and random to me :D

I really like the eyes and the bg of the new MT, but I'm not sure how much I'd use any of the other items... I agree that the hair is kind of boring. Still debating whether I should get it, but I probably should. I need more bgs that I actually like, I always have so much difficulty finding a suitable one for my avis.

I haven't been on Pottermore in ages... I liked taking all the quizzes and went through the whole beta period reading everything there was to know. But I don't keep up with it.

I rarely use backgrounds for my avatar, I focus a lot of colour balance so I only end up using one if it adds to the colour scheme.

Yeah, I haven't been on pottermore in a long time either - I just logged in to double-check my patronus, so I wouldn't tell you some nonesense :D Pretty much after they changed everything I went there once or twice, decided it was confusing and I didn't like it anymore and stopped logging in.

Nan, there's a quiz to determine the corporeal form of your patronus on pottermore, yes :) (pottermore is an official site, JKR is involved in it)
Do you remember what a patronus is from the story? It's the spell with which you can chase off dementors, it featured heavily in the third book.

I tend to feel that my avi is incomplete without a bg, but since I like things to match colourwise as well but I also want the avi itself to stand out from the bg, I usually have a lot of trouble choosing one. The MT one might be nice because you can make the avi mostly in the colours of the fireworks and then it matches without the whole bg being the same colour as the majority of the avi and everything looking flat.

My patronus fits me perfectly, a vain pretty bird, perfect :'D

Sometimes a patronus just fits well with a person's look/to an outsider's perspective like friends and such who have a grasp of your personality

and sometimes it fits well in the sense that you share a trait, or that its just an animal you really like etc
