Aw, that's bad.
I managed to click every day, only just a bit later each day because I never remember the hour ^^;

If you had one pet for 10 days and remembered to collect every day, that would still only be 350 eggs, and you need 840 for 1 complete set of everything.

So.....

I guess you would need 2 pets. Can you have 2 pets, one in different rooms? Could you technically have like as many pets as Knuffels?

Yes.
You could also have multiple event pets in the same knuffel room, if you liked.

That's pretty good to know! Never used the rooms before! Just saw some items like a black swirly orb that gave bonuses while digging, and knew those were limited.

No, they are not limited.
They are functional items you can buy in the Living Empire.

I don't really use them though, I'm not sure whether they are really worth it...

I try to dig every day. I don't get to actually do it, but most of times I manage.
Not with all my knuffels, but almost a hundred of them, so it's fine.

But I focus on materials, because that way digging is faster.
