Had some funny situations because of that so far :mcheh:
I've done that too, and my husband will ask me what I'm doing because he just sees me gesturing without any context.

I like to eat things separately. Like I will eat the meatballs and then the sub of a meatball sub. I used to do it with hotdogs, but working on that.

You know those ramen noodles that are basically bricks of noodles? I eat those sans seasoning, not cooked/soaked through. I like the cronch.

I do that A LOT.
The other day my son asked me about my funny faces, and I had to explain it to him.
"You know when you run around saying nonsensical stuff about Pokemon, because there is a Pokemon battle in your mind? Same thing, but mom does not run around." XD

Some sort of sensibility toward textures, perhaps?

What the...
Really?
I mean, I do eat uncooked dough, but the soft kind.
I may have eaten the odd spaghetto, but it's too hard to feel tempted to eat more ^^;

Just one question.
Is it a meal or just an snack?
For some reason in my mind it sounds like an snack...

It really depends on my mood. Usually it's just as a meal, because it's the only foodstuff that even sounds appealing sometimes. Yay for Neurodivergence and food weirdness. lol

I eat one thing on my plate at a time. it drives my dad nuts, but at least I'm eating everything on my plate!

My son also eats on thing on his plate at a time. And he always begins with whatever he likes the less, and ends with his favourite.
Still too young to know if that means something, but it's kinda funny.

The only issue I see with this kind of eating is that some dishes are all the ingredientes mixed, and he does not even want to try them out cause he just can't sort them in the plate.

I add up numbers on license plates and exit signs and I can't stop until I get to nine without any more numbers within sight. :mcsleepy:

I put peanut butter on my waffles instead of syrup. And sometimes Nutella. Sometimes I even have Nutella on my pancakes. I started doing it as a quick grab-and-go breakfast before my college classes; now it's part of my menu.

This is weird? Everyone I know eats one thing at a time. What's the other way to do it? A bite of hamburger, then a bite of fries, then a bite of salad?

THAT'S MADNESS.

I like dipping my pretzels in apple sauce. :mcdead:
Bonus points if you mix in a little cinnamon and brown sugar into the apple sauce first.
It's salty, sweet, spiced, crunchy, and delicious. :mccute: Plus, the applesauce means that the pretzles aren't too dry.
