Hm.
I wish there was some way we could just incorporate both.
The closest I got to a medieval and modern at the same time was the one I have right now, where it's during the Renaissance. LOL~

Hmmm.
Well, I have this one idea: there's a group of people who are not connected to each other at all - at least they think so.
And then, one day, they start having this hallucinations/visions, whatever, when they go into a tribal setting. (Yeah, it would probably be better than medieval. xD) And it happens to all of them at the same time.
And there they either die all the time, or some of them die, or something.
And the explanation (or the basics of it at least, haha xD;) could be that there was some sort of ritual that bound a bunch of people together (for some reason) and now their reincarnated versions (that would be our players) need to figure out why.

This guy wakes up with no memory of anything, and he's got this weird tribal mark on him, and he starts hallucinating that he's in some kind of tribal thing off and on.
It's got a lot to do with other stuff, but that's the main thing. xD

Ah, but our characters won't have amnesia. o:
And they won't wake up with any sort of tribal mask.
And I was thinking that when the hallucinations happened, the people would drop unconscious or something, and then they'd wake up - exhausted and uneasy, maybe with their memories about what they dreamt of fuzzy.
Or, we could make it that lately our charas have been tired and didn't remember their dreams, just that they had nightmares, and we'd start of at a point where for some reason they would start to.
It could have to do with the appearence of a certain character or whatever. ;o

Oh, he didn't wake up with a mask or anything. He woke up in a tribal place, but he was in his own clothes, just how he was. Leather jacket, jeans, etc. for example, haha. It was pretty neat.
Uhm.. Hm. I actually really like where this is going. ;D
And it could work well with what I wanna do, too! 8D
