To answer your question Charstar. I use blue like that because its my default. I always shade and highlight in monotone before I apply color. Its just a habit. xD

Thanks for the feedback, I will try and add 3-5 additions specific to the final form and change which states the little details appear in. altogether I am looking to make ten or more additions.

His skin is not staying that green color through the whole thing... thats just about the middle of where it will be XD

I think your little knuffel has potential :3

Going back to the shading thing, what I noticed is that it looks like they do some cell shading on the knuffel (hair, clothes etc.) So I might consider working with that if you are still questioning your shading, though shading personally has different styles such as the one you use (: (I was introduced to cell shading formally (lol) on DA)

I'm actually trying to decide on my own shading style so go figure x3 (and I was just introducing something not saying your shading is bad, your shading is fine.)

My shading isn't that good I know xD I use like three different styles of doing it... skin is done one way, clothes another, and then hair another... I'm going to stick with it through this knuffel and then try to do something more unified next time XD
