Vin, I am trying to focus on more types of girls.
And boys ofcourse.
For example, there's a character who fits the "common overhyped beauty thing" while she hs major body problems. Or a girl with a split personality and so on. I like my girls to be diverse. As well for my boys. (Unless they are merfolk.. hehe)

I don't like muscular guys all that much, and I prefer my boys to have some meat on them, I don't want to hug a twig, they are very bony. x'D But I also LOVE guys with long hair, they make me think of samurai and knights in shining armor. 
Besides, traditionally guys had long hair, and in the Japanese culture there was a meaning behind a samurai or a lord getting their hair cut off, but I forget what it was. :/ So I get ticked off when my mom says guys shouldn't have long hair and the only reason why they did have long hair before was because they didn't invent scissors yet. (as a note, men still had long hair during the civil war which was during the 1860's).

I only like certain men with long hair.
Usually I don't like it at all.
I only have a few OCs with long hair.
And three of them are during the samurai era.

Not even, all they needed was a knife with a sharp enough blade to cut it. =_= And you can make an obsidian dagger with a sharp enough edge for that.

The haircutting this is a part of being dishonered.
If the samurai made a horridble mistake that ruined his honor, the samurai committed suicide through a traditional manner. Moi knows what this is.
I did research after them because of school. There were female samurai's by the way.
