I've never tried making crepes are home but they seem thinner and probably more delicate than making pancakes.

I was thinking of changing the gift box service since no newer users have arrived 8u
-sigh-
I might alter it slightly.

Master Poshi wrote:@Zia: Half black and white people are really rare in Australia unless you mean half white and Aboriginal. We didn't get many African immigrants till a couple of years ago.
??? I wasn't talking about in Australia. This happened in Canada.
What are you studying? Does Canada not have a student loan scheme?
I will be picking up some prerequisites for my Master's program. Canada does have a student loan program but only if you're planning on taking classes full-time. I don't have enough credit this coming semester to qualify, and I don't want to take a bunch of unrelated courses just to keep it up. It's not as if I'm doing this for a degree. Yet.
I'm good, just very busy, very tired (I shouldn't spend so much time on kofk :\)
Well, I hope you're taking some time off of KofK, then.
I knew that but does it really explain why human babies are so ugly? Hahahaha. I guess premature = ugly.
Uh, yes? I mean, compared to other animal babies, we're born in fetus-stage. Fetuses are super creepy and ugly, no matter the animal.
My mum and I currently have synchronised eye twitching days. It's probably the weather.
Hope the weather improved, then.

According to people who make crepes at home, it's apparently not all that harder than making pancakes... but it certainly looks much harder.

It IS as easy as to make pancakes. It's just a bit bigger so a bit more difficult to manipulate but it's really easy.
It's just that usually you make them less thin than you find in the shops, because you can and because it makes making them a lot easier.

(Also, thank you so much Poshi ! I got a nice surprise :D)

@Zia: I know you meant in Canada.
Will you be working and studying part time then?

I feel like if I made crepes at home I would rip them. They look so thin.
I will try making them sometime because I actually don't like pancakes. Haha.
You're welcome Kuuki c:

Well, it tastes very much like pancakes though ^^
It's just a bit lighter.

Somehow, pancackes are really popular in Japan. I don't really understand why.

Okay. I was confused. I thought you were asking if the guy is half Australian aborigine when I said he's half black. :qlol:

They say you always rip the first one, but my home ec teacher always told us that you always ruin the first pancake. It's like a ritual you have to go through to make a good batch of pancakes. Or crepes. Whichever.

Anything foreign is popular, I think. I think there are more traditional, home-style Korean restaurant here in Canada than there were back in Korea.

Nope, I mega side tracked after you mentioned half black haha

I don't think I've ever made pancakes. How hard could it possibly be 8u
I did ruin my first brownie and macaron I guess.

What's a good Korean dish Zia?
I really like dukbokki and japchae but then I don't really know what else to get.

@feather:
I know :c I created this for new users but alas, no new users recently.

Pancakes are super easy, they even sell pancake mix for extra easiness (though I've never ever used a premixed thing for anything I've ever made so I can't vouch for the quality ^^)

I think Kofk is a bit difficult for new users, I remember spamming the spam forum when I first joined to get a bit of food to hopefully buy the next monthly set.
Now it got easier but it might be difficult for new users to find this out.

Hmm. 불고기 Bulgogi is popular and so is 갈비 Korean BBQ. 삼겹살 Korean bacon is also good if you like chewy. If you want more veggie area 비빔밥 bibimbap is good if you like spicy, 부침개 buchimgae/ 전 juhn if you don't like spicy. Korean sushi, 김밥 kimbap is a good alternative if you don't like the seafoodiness of Japanese sushi. 곰탕 Gomtang is a nice comfort food, and if you're ready to venture into super Korean, slightly weird, you could get Korean sausage, 순대 soondae.
