Exactly. So we shouldn't give them even more loopholes for them to exploit. If we open law up for interpretation, I'm sure there'd be more abuse going on.

And for some of us, there's no better motivator than spite. lol I work hard to prove people wrong.

Oh, happy belated Canadian Thanksgiving, by the way!

It can be so stupid with certain laws 8u

Like, this is old but I just saw it, they were trying to send ships with supplies to Puerto Rico and there's a law that only certain ships can get through, so not all the supplies ship can deliver the supplies NEEDED.

And this guy tried to rob a store and this man hit him with a chair, got the knife and stabbed him a few times.
Well, the guy that was trying to ROB THE STORE is trying to sue the man for stopping him and stabbing him.
And it's like....YOUR dumb ass wouldn't have gotten stabbed if you weren't trying to commit a CRIME.

I've heard similar stories of people breaking into homes and getting injured or killed and being able to sue the homeowner.
Kind of like what happened with my cousin.
But that's the criminal's fault O___o

Laws exist for good reasons usually, but some make no sense and do the opposite of what they're supposed to >>

I can be spiteful. Like that whole Starbucks cups bullshit.
I felt the need to go there and buy 10 cups 8u
Or if I see down votes on this site that make no sense, I vote up xD

Happy Was Canadian Thanksgiving 8u/
I saw it on the calendar but forgot xD
Did you have a good one u8?

Defos. But on the other hand, I can see how stabbing the guy with his own knife is going a bit overboard. If he just hit him with a chair and chased him out then I'd be like, yeah, you got what's coming to you, but you can't use excessive force. At some point it's no longer self defense.

What? The one where they took the snowflakes off? I do the upvote thing, too. :qlol:

Aw, that's sweet of you that you took notice! It was good.
I didn't get to see my boyfriend but we had Vietnamese wraps. I wish I had turkey, though.

True. But I've seen stories of mass murder with just a knife.
So I don't know how to feel.
Smacking him with a chair and taking the knife, but I could see why one would want to confirm that the person couldn't do much else.
I don't know where he stabbed him, but it looked like his arm.

Was it snowflakes? I don't remember. I just remember it was stupid. Especially with all the bad stuff going on. Let's attack cups \8u/

That's good :3

Well, the story of someone committing mass murder with just a knife only strengthens my belief taking someone's knife and stabbing them with it goes beyond self defense. Once you've got the weapon away from them just call the police on them. Keep it pointed at them to keep them from doing anything else, sure. But I don't think you need to attack them with it. If it were me, I wouldn't be going anywhere near that person. I wouldn't want to give them a chance to struggle with me for the knife.

There was something about snowflakes and something about there being no more green on the cups other than the logo.

Well, that'd be a lot of countries. :qlol: Turkey's not really popular in Korea.

I'm still trying to figure out how mass knifings happen.
It just seems like...someone could stop them???
I mean with a gun, it's easy, but a knife is close combat.
Also, when people are murdered with a knife, it's usually considered the most aggressive type of attacking and killing.
They say people murdered with knives, were usually killed by someone they knew.
Doesn't cover mass knifings, but it's done out of a strong emotional state.

OH. Speaking of not self defense, did you hear about that woman that killed her man and claimed self defense?
Alexander had sustained 27 to 29 stab wounds, his throat had been slit, and he had suffered a gunshot wound to the head.

She tried to say she did it in self defense, but that's like....STUPIDLY wrong :U

I remember it. But it's stupid no matter what was on it. Unless it was like Nazi shit xD

D: B-but turkey ~

What're your weekend plans 8U

I guess it's not so much a knifing spree but over time? Since it's quiet so if it's dark and you take people by surprise so that they don't make sounds when they die I guess it draws less attention to you. I don't know. Or maybe they did all know the person and they pretended to be a victim before stabbing them.

I think so. She said she was abused and went into a trance or something? And wasn't the guy asleep when she did that?

Oh and there was this one thing where they tried to get people to talk about race and tolerance with Starbucks Baristas, too. And it was so weird because who wants to talk politics with their morning coffee? You want your coffee and leave so that you can get to your work on time. And plus, majority of the employees who work at barista level in Starbucks are not white but they decided to use white person in their ad campaign. So weird.

I agree! But making it illegal is a bit much. Like taking someone's knife and stabbing them after you've already hit them with a chair.

I'm going to go to my boyfriend's place and hang out with him and his roommate for a bit for his birthday on Saturday and then on Sunday I'm going to go watch My Fair Lady with a friend. Otherwise, I've got midterm to study for. What're YOUR plans?

The mass murder with the knife, I didn't mean they all knew the person.
I just meant that a lot of the time, when someone is stabbed, the victim knew the murderer.

No, he was in the shower and she took a picture of him right before she started stabbing him.
Look up Travis Alexander.

>XD
I don't want to talk about anything to anyone until a few minutes after my coffee.
I don't like politics or know much xD

I would have just hit him a few more times with the chair 8u

8U what a coincidence. My birthday's on Sunday.
Not doing much. Just sitting around the house. Like always.

No, I understood you. I'm just trying to hypothesize how the mass knifer managed to knife so many people.

Oh no. I was thinking of a different person. I didn't hear about this one. This other one, I can't remember their names, but they were married with children but she claims he was abusing her and she killed him because she was afraid he was going to kill her but there was a question about her story because it looked like he was sleeping when the stabbing started and some of the stabbings looked like it occurred after he was dead. The defense said that she was so traumatized by the past abuse by her husband that she went into a trance of a sort and kept stabbing without realizing what was going on.

Right? It's an interesting idea but I don't know how it'd work.

Just to make sure he's going to leave for good and not going to try anything else.

Whoa! Happy early birthday!

Okay xD
I wasn't sure if I said it stupid or something.

I've seen similar stories to that. Having had loved ones in abusive relationships, I really sympathize with women, and men, like that.
I don't think you can fix abusive people, so best thing is prison, I guess.
If they make it that far xD

Reminds of me this man I watch. He said something like "You don't have to kill him! Just break his legs! He'll walk it off 8u"
I feel bad saying this, but I enjoy watching abusive people get knocked out or less bad.
Like there was this video of this woman that was bullying someone else, and this tall lady started smacking her and said "You like that!? You like being bullied!?" and the woman was like "No no no uB"

Thank you 8U
I kinda disappeared on here xD
I hope you had a good time.
