I am afraid I do not understand what you mean by "original ones". A sensu is defined by the shape of the fan (in contrast to the uchiwa) and not by a color or pattern. I completely understand you point and I would gladly like to bring in more items from different cultures into KOfK.
Sadly I do not know much about other cultures. I am familiar with Japan and Japanese culture not only because I study Japanese studies at university, but because I have family there and have been there. This is why we often have Japan-inspired items here.
But I haven't been any other non-European country and my knowledge of their cultures or what typical items they might have is rather limited, so this is difficult for me.

I think she means original as in the ones that were first introduced in this site, not original as in the original fans that were used in Japan.
And on that note, I just realized that this is the Feature thread, not the item thread. Oopsy.
And even non Asian culture items would be great! I would love to see some items inspired by Denmark or Germany, for example! And if you need help with authenticity with items from other cultures, I'm sure there are users here from those cultures who would love to give you references. I know I would with the traditional clothes (and have made avatar edits with HanBok stuff and entered HanBok stuff into the avatar item contest but that's neither here nor there).

Hanboks are pretty. I'd love to have some.
I'm part Mexican and Native American, but I can't think of any themed items ._.
Maybe Day of the Dead masks or face paint.
And maybe a poncho.

I'm sorta changing the subject back to what it was because I know I forget my idea if I don't put it down now DX;;
I haven't seen a place on kofk where you could see all the knuffel stages you have had with your own knuffels. (or with any knuffels at all)
I was thinking, maybe there could be some of a 'book'/page where you could see these 'achievements' and look back at how your knuffels used to look like. When your knuffel changes stages, you get a new achievement and the old stage of your knuffel in the 'book'. And the word achievement is just to make it sound a bit fancy. You only earn the knuffel stage in the 'book'. Nothing like foodpoints or whatever.
That was kinda a rough sketch of what I had on my mind... So I was wondering what other people are thinking? xD
I'm probably not being too clear about my idea, but like I said, it's a rough thing I had in my mind which can probably get some changes if it were to be accepted... Unless there is already something like that where you can check out old knuffel stages xD

I would like to request that avatars you saved with items you no longer have load without the items you no longer have, instead of not loading at all. This will give users some idea of what the old avatar looked like, as well as in the case where they created an avatar with an item and that item's ID changed for some reason such as recolour (and thus realignment of colour) or fixed typo, it would save Starkad the trouble of having to fix those avatars. Having it like this would allow the users to fix their avatars themselves by re-adding the updated item.

A bunch of my avatars no longer work and I can't even remember what they looked like fully so I can't remake them.

I cannot write this word now I do remember that I used to be able to, because it is a word I do use from time to time (hat cum cloak). But now, when I use it, it turns into a period. I would like to have an option to turn censor off.
